Louis Vuitton hat trunk from 1938, covered in the Maison’s stenciled canvas with lozine trim and a slightly darker tone characteristic of late 1930s production. Originally designed for women, it features brass hardware, four LV-stamped castors, two well-preserved leather handles, and hand-painted “S.Y.” initials in yellow on the sides and top.

The interior is lined in starched cotton canvas with a padded lid and retains its complete original layout, including the rare “Paradis” hat cage for multiple hats and an upper fabric tray for accessories. With its intact Louis Vuitton label, soft even patina, bright fittings, and exceptionally fresh interior, this small hat trunk perfectly captures the Maison’s refined art of travel.
